Genuine experiences, checked before publication

Reviews should describe your own experience of Amelia’s Helping Hands. New website reviews are held privately for Amelia to check before they appear. We welcome both positive and negative feedback and use the same publication standards regardless of the star rating.

Amelia considers whether the review appears to reflect a genuine customer experience, using the information available and relevant service records where appropriate. This is a proportionate manual check, not an independently verified review service. We may be unable to publish a review if we cannot reasonably establish that it relates to a genuine experience. Existing published reviews are also subject to this policy and may be investigated if a concern is raised.

What we do not publish

• Fake reviews, impersonation or reviews written by someone with no genuine experience.
• Reviews from staff, owners or connected people presented as independent customer feedback.
• Spam, unrelated advertising, duplicated submissions or abusive, threatening or discriminatory content.
• Private contact details, health or care information, or confidential information about another person.
• Content we have good reason to believe is unlawful or materially misleading.

We do not offer payment, discounts or gifts in return for reviews. Please do not submit incentivised reviews. We do not decline an otherwise genuine review merely because it is critical.

Your words and your choice

We publish approved reviews in the words submitted. If a review contains private information or needs a material correction, we may withhold it and ask for a new version where we can contact the author; we do not silently rewrite the opinion. Choose a display name you are comfortable sharing publicly.

The homepage shows up to three of the most recent published reviews. The Reviews page currently shows up to 100 of the most recent published reviews; it is not a guarantee that every historical review is displayed. We do not describe reviews as independently verified.

Report a review or request removal

Email [email protected] or call 07552 218804. Identify the review and explain the concern. Amelia will consider the report, check relevant information and remove or withhold content where appropriate. We may temporarily withhold a review while investigating. A reviewer can withdraw publication permission using the same contact details.
